Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to permanently delete your BOND account and all associated data.

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Fastest)

  1. 1 Open the BOND app on your device
  2. 2 Go to Settings → Account
  3. 3 Tap Delete Account
  4. 4 Confirm deletion to permanently remove your data

Immediate deletion - no waiting period

Option 2: Email Request

If you no longer have access to the app or prefer email verification:

Subject: Delete My BOND Account
Include:
  • • Your registered email address
  • • Your partner connection code (if known)
  • • Confirmation that you want all data deleted

Processing time: Within 7 business days

What Gets Deleted

Profile and account information
All messages and conversations
Photos, memories, and media
Calendar events and dates
Game results and quiz answers
Shared lists and todos
Voice messages and recordings
Connection with partner

Important: This Cannot Be Undone

Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, you cannot recover any data. Your partner will also lose access to all shared content.

  • • Anonymous accounts inactive for 180 days are automatically purged
  • • Analytics data is retained for 30 days then deleted
  • • Backup data may persist in Firebase for up to 30 days
