How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Perform HVAC Calculations: Calculate heating and cooling loads using ACCA Manual J methodology
• Analyze Blueprints: Use AI to extract room dimensions from blueprint photos
• Generate Reports: Create professional load calculation reports
• Improve the App: Fix bugs and crashes through anonymous error reporting
• Store Data Locally: All your project data stays on your device

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We Do NOT:

• Sell your personal information or project data
• Transmit customer information to external servers

Local Processing:

All HVAC calculations and AI analysis happen entirely on your device. Your project data, customer information, and blueprints never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.

Optional Firebase Services:

If you choose to use cloud backup or sync features:

• Data is stored in Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption
• You control what data is synced
• You can delete cloud data at any time

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures:

• Local Storage: Project data is stored securely on your device using Room database encryption
• On-Device AI: Blueprint analysis uses local ONNX models, no cloud processing
• Optional Encryption: Enable app lock with PIN or biometric authentication
• Secure Export: PDF reports are generated locally

Data Retention

Your data is retained on your device for as long as:

• The app is installed on your device
• You choose to keep your projects

You can delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual projects within the app
• Clearing app data in your device settings
• Uninstalling the application

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your data (stored locally on your device)
• Delete your data at any time
• Export your data using the PDF report feature
• Correct your data by editing projects

To exercise these rights, you have full control through the app settings.

Children's Privacy

HVAC Blueprint is a professional tool intended for HVAC contractors and technicians. It is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Third-Party Services

The app may use these third-party services:

• Firebase Crashlytics: Anonymous crash reporting to improve app stability
• Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics (can be disabled)

These services collect only anonymous, aggregated data and do not have access to your project information or customer data.
